Jens provides the second part only since the first parts are published solo pieces. He completed several of his most famous works and also performed regular concerts, to rave reviews. He played more frequently at salons — social gatherings of the aristocracy and artistic and literary elite — but preferred playing at his own Paris apartment for small groups of friends. If you are a fan of high quality vodka, do not hesitate to try it out. The best known, among the familiar works, are the Polonaise in A major, Opus 40 No. 1, the Polonaise in A flat, Opus 53, and the Polonaise- Fantaisie, Opus 61.

Richard Greenan µ³Chopin, like so many of his musical compatriots, was not interested in recovering rural truths, but in bringing Poles of the urban upper classes a little bit closer to a highly constructed and desirable idea of themselves.´ What does Barbera Milewski (1999) mean by this image of Chopin¶s Nationalism? He also played in Vienna, where he premiered two of his pieces. I find it is helpful to place each composer in a timeline next to their peers, to better understand the stylistic aspects of interpretation.
